How We View Marriage in the past? How Do We view Marriage Now?

Our lives are surrounded by the relationships we build with families. These relationships shape us i ndividually through the personality and views of our families. Most relationships build us up and teach us how to live and prosper in this life.   As a child, I remember my parents teaching me about the first family. What difference does this make, you might be asking? Well, It teaches us the foundations of the family. Families have been a part of the world since the creation of Adam and Eve. That is a very long time. Marriage was introduced by God. In the Old Testament, genesis 3:20 states, “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.” In the scriptures, it mentions multiple time that a marriage is ordained of God. It is a relationship ‘central to the Creator’s plan for the eternal destiny of His children. For centuries, marriage was universally understood as a union between a man and a woman.
